I can never contain my excitement when we receive professional photos of our work 🙂
Marijana contacted me last year to hire us for the styling and decoration of her wedding to the rather dashing Roberto.
Now this wedding was going to be held in a fabulous Castle in Carmona. I was sold!
Carmona is one of my favourite towns in Spain so I jumped at the chance to organise another visit to this magical town and, a bonus, spend time here creating a beautiful wedding. This town holds such a special place in my heart as I was fortunate enough to take my beloved father there for his 80th birthday weekend, not knowing he would never make his 81st, special times and wonderful memories.
Marijana was such a charming and talented client, I am in awe of how many languages she is fluent in and it was a dream working with her to create her perfect day.
I always break down our weddings into sections for the decoration and styling which I think helps the clients see each element of the day more clearly.
We always start with the getting ready, to make sure our clients have the props for their wedding photos, such as gorgeous dress hangers, bouquets delivered to their rooms, perhaps some extra flowers for photos, decorative trays to display jewellery, etc. This is an element that is often missed as the photographers get the shoes, dress, perfume, jewellery and often cards and messages shots.
Then we have the bridal flowers, bouquets, buttonholes, hair flowers, corsages.
After this we concentrate on the ceremony, as well as florals we offer a whole host of accessories for this part of the wedding, a personalised aisle runner, welcome sign, confetti, fans, parasols, selfie cards (such fun!!) and ceremony candles.
For the cocktail, we provided blush linens for the cocktail tables set off with rose gold sequin table runners and small floral displays. The cocktail area was decorated with gorgeous giant balloons and we created signs.
A wooden personalised welcome sign and Marijana also wanted a sign post that showed how many kilometres guests had travelled to her wedding from different cities such as Berlin, Seville, London and Belgrade.
We also created a fabulous table seating plan on a painted pink palette with blackboard style table seating cards and set up a guest table with a finger print tree, from Happy Hibou, displayed in a white frame complimented with a vintage style world globe.
For the dinner and table settings, Marijana loved our blush chair sashes finished off with large blush roses for the chair backs and we complimented the tables with gold charger plates, gold tealights, pink floral centrepieces, blush napkins and table numbers in gold frames.
Our Piece de Resistance was our fabulous dessert and cake table which we designed and created with Sweet Things By Fi. I made a lovely pink rose flower wall and we designed a stunning pink dessert table and a beautiful cake table ready for the main wedding cake which was in a different area as we had fireworks set up for the cutting of the cake :)!
Marijana also needed some help with finalising some suppliers, we organised a wonderful fireworks display and the cake cutting fireworks
I loved styling Marijana´s wedding and hope you enjoy this blog post. Images are courtesy of Moi on my iphone! and Javier Isorna.
Here is Marijana´s review left on our Facebook page.
There are no words to describe how grateful we are, thank you so much Reviva! Reviva was the best decision we made in the wedding process. Laura is amazing, her attention to detail is outstanding.
She is a great organiser and replies very promptly, she fits into any situation. From the moment we met her and Elizabeth, we knew our wedding was going to be an awesome event. We couldn’t recommend Reviva highly enough.
GRACIAS and THANK YOU for a BIG job!
