Here at Reviva Weddings we are super excited to be entering 2019 and finishing the planning of many of our gorgeous weddings this year.
We are also still getting lots of enquiries which is amazing, but with only a few dates left we are now turning weddings down which is a shame, but we do always recommend other planners we know and work with.
2020 is also really busy so if you are considering a wedding in Spain I would recommend you start planning as soon as you can.
We adore styled shoots and recently I was contacted by the lovely Sophia who wanted to share a magical styled shoot she had worked on with some amazing bridal industry specialists in Australia. The concept and photography was created by Desa and Filip at Sephory Photography.
This shoot was brought to life using a vibrant palette of blush pinks, pure white and rich greenery. The result was a European inspired feel that showcased the love between two people.
Our 2018 wedding season started with one of my famous road trips to the cosmopolitan town of Sitges.
After a year of planning, emailing and chatting I was really excited to be finally meeting Whitley and Francisco as they had never visited Spain and I could not wait to see what everyone thought of the country I fell in love with as a small child! The fact they had taken a huge leap of faith, after abandoning their wedding plans in the States, made it even more awesome they were jumping onto a plane to host their wedding in a completely different country! I can never contain my excitement when we receive professional photos of our work 🙂
Marijana contacted me last year to hire us for the styling and decoration of her wedding to the rather dashing Roberto.
Now this wedding was going to be held in a fabulous Castle in Carmona. I was sold!
Carmona is one of my favourite towns in Spain so I jumped at the chance to organise another visit to this magical town and, a bonus, spend time here creating a beautiful wedding. This town holds such a special place in my heart as I was fortunate enough to take my beloved father there for his 80th birthday weekend, not knowing he would never make his 81st, special times and wonderful memories.
When Ashleigh first got in touch with me from New York, she had already booked the Finca and church in preparation for their wedding in Spain.
The catering was also confirmed but Ashleigh had hit the proverbial ´wedding wall´as I like to call it. Still required was all the furniture, glassware, linens and decoration plus someone to pull it all together and oversee the day.
I love a challenge and thought how lovely, a beautiful Finca near Iznajar in the middle of June, perfect weather and a stunning location. This wedding has now gone into my top ten hottest weddings ever as the heatwave we suffered in June drove the temperatures up to the mid forties! Never have I been so hot without air con to dash into!
As my business is weddings and styling, plus a background in interiors and design, I constantly watch trends emerging. I am pretty good at predicting them and love watching talents emerge that really stand out from the crowds so had to share this amazing cake designer with you.
I found Ivenoven on Instagram and was immediately wowed by her amazing creativity and skills.
Her website is simple but really she does not need much else as her cakes speak for themselves, they are quite simply works of art. (more…)
We love watching the new trends to ensure we are always up to date with our wedding styling and tonight I quickly put together this style board with concrete inspirations found on Pinterest.
As the industrial look hit the interiors world a few years ago we adored the polished concrete kitchen worktops and I was pleased to see the use of marble and stone come back with a vengeance as my entire house has marble floors that I never really liked but now they are bang up to trend! (more…)
