This weekend I will cover a very popular style of wedding here in Spain, villa weddings.

As you search for venues and wedding planners you may notice many wedding planners do not offer private villa weddings as part of their service and prefer to stick to the hotel and wedding venue packages. (more…)

Spain is a diverse country with the Costa Del Sol and the coast of Barcelona being the two most popular beach locations for weddings but the two coastlines are totally different. (more…)

A Wedding Planners Winter, what do we get up to!

I often wonder where the busy summer months go and of course in the winter we do slow down, but ever so slightly as there is always so much to catch up on.

So what do wedding planners get up to in the winter!

I thought it would be a nice idea to write a little blog post about what we have been up to and give our readers a little insight into our lives.

French Jewish Wedding at La Cabane by Evenpic Photography

I love this time of year as we wind down from our wedding season, it allows us to meet new suppliers, plan photo shoots and generally catch up with all our friends in wedding world and have a rest!

It is so rewarding and satisfying to have time to sit and look back at our achievements and the beautiful weddings we worked on this year and pat ourselves on the back. Our winters are spent putting the foundations, designs and more exciting ideas together for our future weddings and events.

We are delighted to have had such a successful year, we love our 2013 couples and it is so rewarding to see such beautiful photos of such special days.

We would like to share our gorgeous Jewish wedding held at La Cabane at Los Monteros Hotel with you from Evenpic photography, a fabulous photographer based here in Malaga.

We have been taking the time to introduce ourselves to talented professionals over the past few months and I had seen Fran and Elizabeth´s beautiful photos from Evenpic and was keen to meet with them and what a charming team 🙂
It is always important when you meet with a potential photographer to see entire portfolio of weddings and not just selected shots they have chosen, so having met with Fran I was thrilled to see our beautiful wedding captured so perfectly from the getting ready to the party and dancing 🙂
We love this French Jewish wedding Evenpic shot at La Cabane, so as an introduction to their work, we are delighted to share this fabulous wedding with you.

A Fabulous Wedding at the Marbella Club

July 18th, 2012 Posted by Delightful details, Jewish weddings in Spain, Marbella Club, Wedding Flowers Marbella, Wedding Planning service, Wedding Suppliers on the Costa Del Sol, Weddings in Marbella 0 thoughts on “A Fabulous Wedding at the Marbella Club”
At the end of last year we met with the delightful Alexandra and Kevin who were visiting Marbella as they were interviewing a few wedding planners in order to establish who they felt would deliver an excellent service and help them plan, coordinate and style their special day and they decided to hire us 🙂
Alexandra and Kevin had already booked the prestigious Villa Del Mar at the Marbella Club Hotel as the venue for their wedding and a handful of suppliers.
What they required was a professional team behind them to manage and coordinate all their wedding day details, add in the suppliers that were missing and oversee their celebrations.
Carla put together their wedding schedule, budget sheet and organised the rest of the suppliers and details needed and the end result was a beautifully organised and planned wedding ceremony held in the stunning gardens of the Villa Del Mar.
The delightful ceremony was followed by a fantastic dinner reception in the idyllic gardens overlooking the Mediterranean sea and and some real show stopping entertainment provided by Larry Jazz and Yanela Brooks.  Yanela had us boogingy away when she was rehearsing, so I can imagine how fabulous her night time show was!
Although we do create flowers we do feel it is fair as planners to offer a variety of suppliers so our clients can make choices, including florists.
We do not like our couples to feel they have to use us for everything, so on this occasion the gorgeous flowers were provided by Virginia including the very stylish decoration of the wedding canopy, the divine bridal flowers and the tall table arrangements which consisted of large floral balls sat on tall glassware using white hydrangeas, roses and gypsophelia.
We had fun creating and styling the rest of this gorgeous day 🙂
We provided white chill out bracelets for their pre wedding party at Los Monteros Hotel.
The table seating plan was hand written on a shabby chic style white mirror and the fan shaped table names and placecards created by Anoulka were gorgeous with tiny pearl details. The placecards were tied to the napkins with ribbons and the tables were scattered with pearls to finish the overall look of the tables and the very yummy cake was provided by the Marbella Club Hotel.  We dressed the chairs with white organza ribbons and placed white pashminas on all the ladies chairs.
Our lanterns, candles and fairy lights lit up the gardens and provided a gorgeous, twinkly  and very romantic seaside back drop 🙂
Our thanks to David Toms for this selection of wonderful photos from this delightful wedding, and to see more of this very romantic day we have a short video to share with you from BodaKids.
Here is our lovely testimonial for Carla and her superb wedding planner skills
from Alexandra and Kevin, thankfully she has not been shoved into a suitcase and is still with us!
“When we decided upon Marbella as a location for our wedding the one concern was the weather (given the venue was outside) and the second was organization, given the Spanish are not know for their skills in this department! (I can say that because by mother is Spanish).
You could say it was love at first sight.
The first time we met Carla we knew she was the one.
Personable, organized and full of suggestions she filled us with confidence and that confidence was well placed as she enabled us to have the most magical wedding.
She was always on call, responsive and even reminded us of our own timeline.
We could not have organized such a special day without her. She is one in a million.
We wish you could have become back with us in our suitcase.
Thank you
Alexandra and Kevin”
Our congratulations to Alexandra and Kevin and our huge thanks to the Marbella Club and all the suppliers whom without their dedication, professionalism and devotion we could not do our job!

Sneak Peek A Grande Affaire from Paris

July 14th, 2012 Posted by About Us, Chuppahs for weddings, Fairytale Weddings, Jewish weddings in Spain, Styling Weddings, Wedding Planning service, Wedding Venues in Spain, Weddings in Spain 0 thoughts on “Sneak Peek A Grande Affaire from Paris”
We cannot wait to share this gorgeous wedding extravaganza with you next week, but here is a sneak peek as the photos keep rolling in from Nani de Perez.
We came recommended to this delightful family, from Paris, for our highly professional wedding planning services and met with them earlier this year to help them organise a
3 day event here in Marbella for 300 guests.
With our planning skills and ideas for decor we created an extraordinary affair here in Marbella for the delightful Carole and Warren.
The details of this fabulous event involved an amazing beach party for over 200 people at the stunning Puro Beach including belly dancers and a pre wedding henna ceremony in a gorgeously decorated marquee using pinks and oranges as the colour scheme with a modern Moroccan twist.
This fabulous beach party was followed by the most stunning wedding at the Villa Padierna hotel with a gorgeous chuppah, beautiful flowers by Virginia, details and styling by us and lots of entertainment bought in from France.
The whole event was meticuously planned by Laura and Paloma and we will elaborate on this wedding with many more photos soon.  We, at Reviva Weddings, certainly excelled ourselves and here is our testimonial from our father of the bride in Paris :)!
I wanted to tell you, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for everything you did for us.
It was a big pleasure to work with you and it was a wonderful wedding.
On gardera un exellent souvenir, MUCHISSIMO GRACIAS PARA TODO.
Take care of you all and best regards to Laura and Paloma
Kind regards
John Benattar and family
