I love the summer mornings here in Spain when you know the day is going to be a hot one, it has a magical quality in the air before the heat sets in. People scurry around getting things done before it gets too hot and this of course involves buying bread and stopping for a cafe!
This year has been quite kind to us, yes it is hot here and I have spent the summer with wet hair and constantly dabbing myself down but I can’t say I have suffered extreme heat apart from an August wedding in Seville!(more…)
Earlier this year in May we were back at one of our favourite Ronda venues for the wedding of Miranda and Damien who travelled all the way from Vancouver with their family and friends to celebrate their wedding in Spain.
Miranda had lived in Spain as a student and had fallen in love, she wanted nothing more than to return to Spain with her family and friends and what a perfect way to do this and host her wedding here!(more…)
Here at Reviva Weddings we are super excited to be entering 2019 and finishing the planning of many of our gorgeous weddings this year.
We are also still getting lots of enquiries which is amazing, but with only a few dates left we are now turning weddings down which is a shame, but we do always recommend other planners we know and work with.
2020 is also really busy so if you are considering a wedding in Spain I would recommend you start planning as soon as you can.
We adore styled shoots and recently I was contacted by the lovely Sophia who wanted to share a magical styled shoot she had worked on with some amazing bridal industry specialists in Australia. The concept and photography was created by Desa and Filip at Sephory Photography.
This shoot was brought to life using a vibrant palette of blush pinks, pure white and rich greenery. The result was a European inspired feel that showcased the love between two people.
A stunning church and imposing Palacio in the heart of Seville City was always going to be a winning combination for the wedding of Aine & Sean who adore this vibrant city as much as we do.
Aine contacted us with just 6 months to organize her wedding having seen our work and a previous wedding she loved on our blog at the stunning Casa Guardiola. (more…)
Our 2018 wedding season started with one of my famous road trips to the cosmopolitan town of Sitges.
After a year of planning, emailing and chatting I was really excited to be finally meeting Whitley and Francisco as they had never visited Spain and I could not wait to see what everyone thought of the country I fell in love with as a small child! The fact they had taken a huge leap of faith, after abandoning their wedding plans in the States, made it even more awesome they were jumping onto a plane to host their wedding in a completely different country! (more…)
It seems light years ago now we created this stunning photographers workshop at the end of April. A week after this shoot I hit the ground running as we started our wedding season with weddings in Barcelona and Seville! It is only now I am able to pop up for air to share this wonderful experience with you! (more…)
Well, with two weeks to go we are beyond excited as we finalise all the glorious details for our first styled wedding photographers workshop here in Andalucia.
With a whole host of amazing suppliers contributing to The Andalucian Lake Workshop set in the most fabulous location on the Istan Lakes, plus an hugely talented creative team, it really is going to be head turning! I never do anything by halves and presented with a challenge I will always go for it!
Sometimes things happen for a reason so I will explain how my new venture that has been in the pipeline for quite a while is finally here :)!
I hope by taking the time to read this you may decide to step out of your comfort zone and see how quickly everything falls into place once you have made that move and truly believe in what you are creating. (more…)
