Wow is all I can say about this wedding! It was fun, epic and amazing! There of course is a story behind this one as I had the weirdest of years with my weddings this year. My clients had booked a fabulous beach villa but it was one that got slapped with a court order after playing music outside at night. It was fine for smaller weddings but I had two large weddings booked at this venue and there was no way we could host the weddings at the venue after this happened.(more…)
After just six months of planning the magical adventure of Fabiola and Lincoln’s wedding with Firefly Experiences the journey began right here in Ronda, on a gorgeous August summer evening, at the most enchanting place I have visited for a long time, Los Pilares in Ronda.
If you haven’t visited, you really must go. It is a piece of heaven on earth and so quirky with peacocks wandering around the gardens and two lovely fat white ducks in residence. I fell in love with this place and visited it many times this year.(more…)
When Karina got in touch with me to tell me her little brother was getting married I was so delighted to hear from her as I had decorated her wedding many years ago at La Cabane, Los Monteros hotel. I met with Simon and Maria, we chose a fabulous beach side villa, organised all the suppliers and were ready to roll out their wedding when disaster struck.(more…)
Here at Reviva Weddings we are super excited to be entering 2019 and finishing the planning of many of our gorgeous weddings this year.
We are also still getting lots of enquiries which is amazing, but with only a few dates left we are now turning weddings down which is a shame, but we do always recommend other planners we know and work with.
2020 is also really busy so if you are considering a wedding in Spain I would recommend you start planning as soon as you can.
As we draw a close to 2018 I love to take time to reflect not just on my business, but my life, as they are totally connected.
I adore what I do, so for me, it isn’t work, it is me, I live and breathe what I do each day. Anyone that knows me personally says this and often tells me to take a break! The only time I do is at Christmas as I am like an excited child and just love this time of year! Give me glitter and fairy lights and I am in heaven!
I always love theming up our weddings, not just the decor, but the food and drinks.
Coming from a family that celebrates any event going, yes even Eurovision themed nights, it is no wonder I have always loved hosting parties and my job is creating weddings and celebrations. It is deep rooted!
My gorgeous sister is also the proud author of her latest book, the Rose Cocktail book which you can buy on Amazon, and it is full of delicious Rose drinks and cocktails. Her book was a big seller this summer with over 10,000 copies sold since its publication in May 2018.
Earlier this year I was contacted by Paul and Joy, an utterly charming couple looking to host their wedding in Spain with their family and a couple of close friends.
Paul and Joy had already booked a stunning villa in Ronda for the week of their wedding but were set on a beach blessing and then wanted to head up to the hills for a Mamma Mia style dinner party with plenty of good food and wines at their villa.
After we met for a coffee, they were sold and so was I!
During our meeting I suggested a few beach venues that I thought would fit their criteria perfectly. They took down the details and directions and spent the rest of their holiday having a nosey, some lovely laid back beach lunches and checking out my suggestions!
Well what can I say about these two! Matt and Jason, brilliant fun, awesome was another word thrown around a lot and we loved every minute of planning their wedding in Barcelona!
Right from day one, I knew this was going to be a very special and fun wedding.
After presenting different venues then narrowing them down to the final choices, Matt and Jason flew out to view their wedding venues with Petra, they knew instantly the Torres del Leones was the perfect venue and worked with their envisaged wedding style.
I first met Matt and Jason in person at their food tasting a few months later, from that day on I knew this was going to be a wedding filled with humour.
When Ashleigh first got in touch with me from New York, she had already booked the Finca and church in preparation for their wedding in Spain.
The catering was also confirmed but Ashleigh had hit the proverbial ´wedding wall´as I like to call it. Still required was all the furniture, glassware, linens and decoration plus someone to pull it all together and oversee the day.
I love a challenge and thought how lovely, a beautiful Finca near Iznajar in the middle of June, perfect weather and a stunning location. This wedding has now gone into my top ten hottest weddings ever as the heatwave we suffered in June drove the temperatures up to the mid forties! Never have I been so hot without air con to dash into!
