Wow is all I can say about this wedding! It was fun, epic and amazing! There of course is a story behind this one as I had the weirdest of years with my weddings this year. My clients had booked a fabulous beach villa but it was one that got slapped with a court order after playing music outside at night. It was fine for smaller weddings but I had two large weddings booked at this venue and there was no way we could host the weddings at the venue after this happened.(more…)
After just six months of planning the magical adventure of Fabiola and Lincoln’s wedding with Firefly Experiences the journey began right here in Ronda, on a gorgeous August summer evening, at the most enchanting place I have visited for a long time, Los Pilares in Ronda.
If you haven’t visited, you really must go. It is a piece of heaven on earth and so quirky with peacocks wandering around the gardens and two lovely fat white ducks in residence. I fell in love with this place and visited it many times this year.(more…)
On the 11th April, the threatened rain disappeared and the sun shone for our Luxe Botanical Styled Shoot at the beautiful location of the Hacienda Nadales in Malaga. The week leading up to the styled shoot was spent constantly checking my phone weather app but was reassured by Jeremy with his very hi-tech swirling cloud app it would be fine, and it was
I couldn´t be happier as we woke up to blue skies and sunshine.(more…)
Here at Reviva Weddings we are super excited to be entering 2019 and finishing the planning of many of our gorgeous weddings this year.
We are also still getting lots of enquiries which is amazing, but with only a few dates left we are now turning weddings down which is a shame, but we do always recommend other planners we know and work with.
2020 is also really busy so if you are considering a wedding in Spain I would recommend you start planning as soon as you can.
As we draw a close to 2018 I love to take time to reflect not just on my business, but my life, as they are totally connected.
I adore what I do, so for me, it isn’t work, it is me, I live and breathe what I do each day. Anyone that knows me personally says this and often tells me to take a break! The only time I do is at Christmas as I am like an excited child and just love this time of year! Give me glitter and fairy lights and I am in heaven!
One of the things I love most about our weddings are the speeches. I have listened to some amazing ones during my 12 years of wedding planning. Some are hilariously funny and others really thought-provoking and tear-jerking.
Your wedding speeches are one of the highlights during your wedding day, they connect your guests as they listen to stories, they gain more of an insight into your lives with your family and close friends and it makes them happy they are celebrating your special day with you. Speeches do bring a closeness and warm fuzzy feeling into the dynamics of a wedding day. (more…)
I always love theming up our weddings, not just the decor, but the food and drinks.
Coming from a family that celebrates any event going, yes even Eurovision themed nights, it is no wonder I have always loved hosting parties and my job is creating weddings and celebrations. It is deep rooted!
My gorgeous sister is also the proud author of her latest book, the Rose Cocktail book which you can buy on Amazon, and it is full of delicious Rose drinks and cocktails. Her book was a big seller this summer with over 10,000 copies sold since its publication in May 2018.
We adore styled shoots and recently I was contacted by the lovely Sophia who wanted to share a magical styled shoot she had worked on with some amazing bridal industry specialists in Australia. The concept and photography was created by Desa and Filip at Sephory Photography.
This shoot was brought to life using a vibrant palette of blush pinks, pure white and rich greenery. The result was a European inspired feel that showcased the love between two people.
There are many beautiful venues in Marbella and we are fortunate to have worked in almost all of them during our 11 years of creating weddings.
This venue, however, was on my wedding bucket list, I have visited it many times, at first when it was called Silks, and then finally it was taken over by the Trocadero Group who have created such a unique space.
Think of laid-back colonial style with a safari theme, dark woods, beautiful furnishings, cosy corners for the winter with log fires and a stunning setting on the beach surrounded by palm trees.
