Earlier this year in May we were back at one of our favourite Ronda venues for the wedding of Miranda and Damien who travelled all the way from Vancouver with their family and friends to celebrate their wedding in Spain.

Miranda had lived in Spain as a student and had fallen in love, she wanted nothing more than to return to Spain with her family and friends and what a perfect way to do this and host her wedding here!

With her stunning villa booked and all her travel plans completed she realised she needed help on the ground. We are the recommended go to wedding planners for this beautiful villa so the owners suggested she contacted me.

Miranda and Damien were a delight to work for, we organised their catering with Sana Catering and Fiona and I worked with Miranda on her decor and details to make sure she had her most perfect magical day.

Whilst the wedding was running rather late Miranda was finally ready and we love this first look taken by Yeray Cruz, isn´t it just so beautiful.

I wish I could post video here and probably can but no idea how!, but the scene was beautiful and the fields were swaying like waves in the breeze, it was magical.

Miranda´s choice, not mine, to attempt this rather steep incline to her ceremony area, this was my nerve racking bit as I had flown down here earlier in the day but she did it with grace!! The backdrop was so worth it!

After their beautiful ceremony with hand fasting conducted by a close friend, they enjoyed canapes and drinks around the pool before heading up to the most exquisite picturesque terrace for the dinner as the sun went down.

It was a full moon this night, it was so beautiful, at 11.11 they had their first dance under the full moon with sparklers, magic.

Miranda ordered this cake from a bakery in Ronda, it was an Italian Meringue lemon cake and it was delicious 🙂

We loved this wedding, our huge congratulations to Miranda and Damien and so many fabulous memories to treasure of your journey and wedding day here in Spain x

Here at Reviva Weddings we are super excited to be entering 2019 and finishing the planning of many of our gorgeous weddings this year.

We are also still getting lots of enquiries which is amazing, but with only a few dates left we are now turning weddings down which is a shame, but we do always recommend other planners we know and work with.

2020 is also really busy so if you are considering a wedding in Spain I would recommend you start planning as soon as you can.

As we draw a close to 2018 I love to take time to reflect not just on my business, but my life, as they are totally connected.

I adore what I do, so for me, it isn’t work, it is me, I live and breathe what I do each day. Anyone that knows me personally says this and often tells me to take a break! The only time I do is at Christmas as I am like an excited child and just love this time of year! Give me glitter and fairy lights and I am in heaven!

One of the things I love most about our weddings are the speeches. I have listened to some amazing ones during my 12 years of wedding planning.  Some are hilariously funny and others really thought-provoking and tear-jerking.

Your wedding speeches are one of the highlights during your wedding day, they connect your guests as they listen to stories, they gain more of an insight into your lives with your family and close friends and it makes them happy they are celebrating your special day with you. Speeches do bring a closeness and warm fuzzy feeling into the dynamics of a wedding day.  (more…)

A stunning church and imposing Palacio in the heart of Seville City was always going to be a winning combination for the wedding of Aine & Sean who adore this vibrant city as much as we do.

Aine contacted us with just 6 months to organize her wedding having seen our work and a previous wedding she loved on our blog at the stunning Casa Guardiola. (more…)
