Wow is all I can say about this wedding! It was fun, epic and amazing! There of course is a story behind this one as I had the weirdest of years with my weddings this year. My clients had booked a fabulous beach villa but it was one that got slapped with a court order after playing music outside at night. It was fine for smaller weddings but I had two large weddings booked at this venue and there was no way we could host the weddings at the venue after this happened.

If you haven’t visited, you really must go. It is a piece of heaven on earth and so quirky with peacocks wandering around the gardens and two lovely fat white ducks in residence. I fell in love with this place and visited it many times this year.

I met with Simon and Maria, we chose a fabulous beach side villa, organised all the suppliers and were ready to roll out their wedding when disaster struck.

This year has been quite kind to us, yes it is hot here and I have spent the summer with wet hair and constantly dabbing myself down but I can’t say I have suffered extreme heat apart from an August wedding in Seville!

Coming from a family that celebrates any event going, yes even Eurovision themed nights, it is no wonder I have always loved hosting parties and my job is creating weddings and celebrations. It is deep rooted!
My gorgeous sister is also the proud author of her latest book, the Rose Cocktail book which you can buy on Amazon, and it is full of delicious Rose drinks and cocktails. Her book was a big seller this summer with over 10,000 copies sold since its publication in May 2018.
A stunning church and imposing Palacio in the heart of Seville City was always going to be a winning combination for the wedding of Aine & Sean who adore this vibrant city as much as we do.
Aine contacted us with just 6 months to organize her wedding having seen our work and a previous wedding she loved on our blog at the stunning Casa Guardiola. (more…)
Our 2018 wedding season started with one of my famous road trips to the cosmopolitan town of Sitges.
After a year of planning, emailing and chatting I was really excited to be finally meeting Whitley and Francisco as they had never visited Spain and I could not wait to see what everyone thought of the country I fell in love with as a small child! The fact they had taken a huge leap of faith, after abandoning their wedding plans in the States, made it even more awesome they were jumping onto a plane to host their wedding in a completely different country! It seems light years ago now we created this stunning photographers workshop at the end of April. A week after this shoot I hit the ground running as we started our wedding season with weddings in Barcelona and Seville! It is only now I am able to pop up for air to share this wonderful experience with you! (more…)
This weekend I will cover a very popular style of wedding here in Spain, villa weddings.
As you search for venues and wedding planners you may notice many wedding planners do not offer private villa weddings as part of their service and prefer to stick to the hotel and wedding venue packages. (more…)
